Snow Day!

A couple weeks ago, I received a frantic text message from Hali that read as follows

Thus began the rat race.
To my dismay, I had clients booked all day on thursday(the last day of the potential trip).
After much badgering, my boss agreed to cover my clients
so I could go play in the snow with my best of friends!

So we all gathered at my house, and we were off!
We left that night right after I got off work.
There was a boys car, and a girls car(obviously the better car).
We stocked up on peach rings, Haribo gummy bears, IPAs (for the boys),
and the ever classy, Andre Champagne(for the girls).

So we arrived at the 3 story cabin. And it was everything we were expecting!
So cute, so woodsy, and the perfect space for all 6 of us to run amuck.

We spent the trip playing in the snow, building and getting mad air off of a sled run, adventuring through town, taking advantage of a photo op at the frozen lake, and playing shee shwa! (remember?!)

Tess and Cubs were chef extraordinaires this trip!
We owe mad props to their incredible cooking skills that kept us fat and happy for 2 whole days.

We spent an obnoxious amount of time playing our favorite game:
Boys vs. Girls pictionary.
Obviously the girls won all 3 times.
Sentencing the boys to a ride on the sled at 1am (and 20 degrees) in T-shirts and Jeans.
(yes, we ended up joining. it just was too much fun to let them do alone!)

So here is the most ultimate of sled runs I keep referring to:

We created a "drop in" (not pictured) for maximum speed,
and a jump at the bottom to "stop" ourselves.
There were a couple "over the jump, down the hill, into the fence" incidents,
but seriously it couldn't have been more epic.

So here we are, back at the beach, awaiting our next big bear adventure!
The sand, the sun and the sound of the ocean wasn't too shabby of a welcoming committee.
